Novruz is a holiday of spring that is celebrated Mostly Turk countries, you know Zaroostrians, who was worshiping the Fire, its a holiday that came from that times.
So on that day, we cook lots of sweets like pakhlava, shekerbura, shor-gogal (all presented in pics) and put candles which represents family members. There is a saying whose candle will fail first, would die erlier than the rest, although all people make fun of it. And also the atribute of spring - grass, which is grown wheat/grain/corn.
Those pics are beautiful. . . can i add u to my faves list on my blogs? It would be cool. I never heard of Novruz before, what does the holiday celebrate??
